Family background

Frank Woodyatt was born 1865 at Blackwood, Victoria, the son of Robert George Woodyatt and Jane Hall. He married Eleanor Glenwright (1869-1949) 14 September 1887 at Lambton, NSW, and they had three sons and three daughters. Woodyatt died 4 October 1958 late of Carlton, NSW, and was interred at Woronora Cemetery.He lived at 16 Rose Street, Darlington.

Occupation & interests

Constable Frank Woodyatt was promoted to first class constable in 1908. In 1923 Sergeant Frank Woodyatt, along with several other policemen, was presented with the Imperial Service Medal by the Governor in recognition of their long and faithful service.

Local government service

Frank Woodyatt was an alderman on Darlington Council in 1923-28.
