Family background

Robert Campbell son was the son of Robert and Eliza Campbell. He married Mary Ann Alice Miller (1854-1935) on 24 April 1901 in Waterloo. Campbell died 19 July 1935 in Rosebery. He lived at 22 Princess Avenue, Waterloo, in 1925-35.

Campbell was a fettler.

Community activity

Campbell told Waterloo Council in 1929 that many motorists and cyclists because of the great speed they travelled along Botany Road were a menace to themselves, and to the public.

Robert Campbell was an alderman on Waterloo Council in 1929-30.
