Family background
Theodore Walter August (Bob) Burgess was born 1873 at Newtown, son of Theodore Burgess and Clara Fanny Weeks. He married Theresa G Bridges (1877-1969) 9 February 1898 at Sydney, and they had two sons and five daughters. Burgess died 28 January 1934, aged 61 years, at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Camperdown, and he was interred in the Catholic Section of Rookwood Cemetery. He left a Will and his estate and assets were assessed at £696. Bob Burgess lived at 2 Codrington Street, Darlington.
