Thomas Joseph McGrath was born at Carcoar in 1856. He worked as a salesman and lived at 56 Burren Street in 1935 and at 2 Flora Street in 1937. He died at 52 Swanson Street, Erskineville on 28 September 1946 and was buried in the Roman Catholic cemetery, Botany.
