Family background

William Hilder Heppell was born on 27 February 1903 in Woollahra, NSW, son of William Heppell and Elizabeth Hilder. He married Catherine Philomena Long on 19 October 1929 in Redfern, NSW and they had a son and 2 daughters. William Hilder Heppell died on 23 November 1978, late of Hunters Hill, formerly of Rosebery, aged 75 years and he was cremated at Northern Suburbs Crematorium. He lived at 23 Bannerman Crescent, Rosebery (1943).
