Family background

Frederick James Veitch was born in Balmain on 12 March 1881, son of James Veitch and Caroline Tindall. He was living at 107 George Street, Waterloo in the 1930s and up to the time of his death on 2 April 1944, aged 63 years. Veitch was buried in the Roman Catholic Section of Rookwood Cemetery. He was married to Caroline Ada Brown (1887-1959) in 1920 in Sydney.

Veitch was the Treasurer of the Waterloo Wardens’ Sports Committee.
