Family background

James Symons was born 26 April 1864 in Redfern, son of Thomas Symons and Anne Bunny. He married Margaret Brown (-1943) on 18 August 1887 in Redfern and they had 3 sons and a daughter. James Symons died on 3 June 1955 at his residence, 24 Roberts Avenue, Mortdale and he was buried with his wife in the Methodist Section of Woronora Cemetery. He lived at 91 George Street, Waterloo.
