Family background

Roderick Vincent Pratt was born on 7 January 1882 in East Maitland, NSW, son of Alexander B Pratt and Sophia Hewitt. He married Janet Gibb Barron (1886-1955) on 3 July 1907 in Sydney. Roderick Vincent Pratt died on 31 January 1960 at hospital, late of Rosebery, aged 78 years and he was buried with his wife in the Church of England Section of Botany Cemetery. He lived at 86 Harcourt Parade, Rosebery (1933).
