Family background

Sidney Patrick Rouhan was born 26 January 1888 in Waterloo, NSW, son of Thomas Rouhan & Bridget McCarthy. He married (1) Florence Mary Cole (-1926) in New Zealand, in 1916 and they had 2 sons. He married (2) Nora Kathleen Ryan on 16 November 1949 in Redfern, NSW. Sidney Patrick Rouhan died on 8 July 1961 at a private hospital, late of 4 Morehead Street, Waterloo, NSW and he was buried in the Catholic Section of Rookwood Cemetery. He lived at Morehead Street, Waterloo.

Sidney Patrick Rouhan was President of the Waterloo Benevolent Society (1932). He was also a justice of the peace (JP).
