Family background

Isaac Vandenbrook was born c1835, the son of John Vandenbrook. He married Emily Sawyer on 13 November 1867 at Glebe, NSW, and they had two daughters. Vandenbrook died at Alexandria on 26 December 1878, aged 43 years; he was buried at Rookwood Cemetery. He left no Will. Vandenbrook lived in Wyndham Street, Alexandria.

Occupation & interests

Isaac Vanderbrook’s small owner operated boot making business closely identified with a growing local community, suddenly terminated by his untimely death.

Isaac Vandenbrook was an alderman on Alexandria Council 1876-78.
