Family background

John Alexander Fletcher was born c1856, son of John Fletcher and Ann. He married Susannah Beale (1861-1937) on 10 June 1886 in Sydney, NSW. There were two daughters, Ethel (1887) and Olive (1889). Fletcher died on 18 January 1921 in Sydney Hospital (late of Waterloo) and he was buried in the Old Church of England Section at Rookwood Cemetery. He lived at 118 Botany Street, Waterloo.
