Maurice O’Sullivan was a Member of the NSW Legislative Assembly for 31 years, from 1927 to 1959, initially as the Member for Woollahra (1927-30) and later as the Member for Paddington (1930-59). He was Minister for Transport (1941-50) and Minister for Health (1950-56).

Maurice O’Sullivan was an alderman on Paddington Council in 1923-34; he was mayor in 1927.
