Family background

Reginald George Seaward Molloy was born to George and Mary Molloy in Sydney in 1894. In 1915, Reginal Molloy married Lillian Podger. Their address in 1917 was 76 Charles Street Erskineville. In 1924, they were living at 74 Charles Street, but had moved to Brighton-le-Sands by 1925. By the 1940s, Molloy relocated to Parramatta where he conducted a mixed grocery business in Church Street for some years. His wife Lillian conducted a confectionary business at 133 Church Street. Reginald Molloy died in Parramatta District Hospital on 26 November 1947. His widow Lillian and three living children survived him. He was cremated at Rookwood.

Community activity

In Parramatta, he was a member of the Bowling and Recreation Club, the Masonic Lodge and the Druids.

Local government service

Reginald George Edward Molloy was an alderman on Erskineville Council in 1917-24, representing North Ward.
