Family background

Thomas Mark Adams was born 4 December 1825 in Ramsgate, Kent, England, the son of Thomas Adams and Elizabeth Kimber. He married Sarah Anderson (1824-1910) 17 September 1849 at Chippendale, NSW, and they had three sons and five daughters. Thomas Mark Adams died 25 July 1901, aged 76 years, at his residence 1 Cromwell Street, Leichhardt, and he was interred in the Methodist Section of Rookwood Cemetery. He left a Will and his estate and assets were valued at £2,086. Thomas Mark Adams lived at Rose Street, Darlington.
