Family background

Arthur Harold Ross was born on 20 May 1879 in Redfern, NSW, son of James Ross and Mary Ann Agatha Ryan. He married Emily Swan (1837-1945) on 6 April 1910 in Sydney and they had 3 sons and 3 daughters. Ross died on 3 June 1942 in Redfern, NSW, aged 63 years and he was buried in the Independent Section of Rookwood Cemetery. He lived at 103 George Street, Waterloo (1933).
