Family background

George Albert Crocker was born 12 April 1880 at Sydney, NSW, the son of Henry James Crocker and Alice Matilda. He married Ada Miriam Deaman (1879-1971) 22 February 1905 at Glebe, NSW, and they had a son and a daughter. George Albert Crocker died 5 September 1953 at his residence 3 Waltz Street, Rockdale, NSW, aged 73 years, and he was cremated at Woronora Crematorium. George Albert Crocker lived at 65 Alice Street, Newtown.

George Albert Crocker was an alderman on Newtown Council in 1923-25, representing O’Connell Ward. He was an alderman on Darlington Council in 1947-48.
