Family background

James Henderson was born c1815 and he married Jemima Stewart at St Andrew’s Manse, Sydney, on 17 June 1857 and they had a son. He died in Hampstead, London on 7 August 1875, aged 60 years. James Henderson left a Will and his estate and assets were assessed at £45,000 in England and £110,000 in Australia. He lived in George Street, Waterloo (1870).
